Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has boasted that no opposition presidential candidate will secure up to 25 per cent of the votes in the state in the 2027 general election.
The governor expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu would record an overwhelming victory in Kaduna, saying anything less than that would amount to a failure by the president’s supporters.
Mr Sani spoke during an interview on TVC News on Sunday, where he praised Mr Tinubu for what he described as unprecedented achievements in Kaduna State.

“Allowing any candidate to even get 25% in Kaduna is a failure on our side because President Tinubu has done for Kaduna something we never dreamt of having,” he said.
The governor said supporters of the president should aim beyond securing 70 per cent of the votes, insisting that the administration’s achievements should translate into overwhelming electoral support in the state.
Mr Sani also dismissed suggestions that northern Nigerians had rejected Mr Tinubu, arguing that the president continued to enjoy substantial support across the region.
According to him, the president has done a lot for the North, and voters in the region are prepared to reciprocate through massive support at the polls.
