The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has released certificates for candidates who successfully sat for its examinations up to 2024, directing them to follow designated procedures to collect their certificates.
In a notice signed by its Registrar and Chief Executive, Aminu Mohammed, and made available in Benin on Friday, the board outlined the requirements for collecting certificates covering the May/June and November/December National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) examinations, as well as the Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) examinations.
Mohammed directed candidates who sat for the May/June examinations to collect their certificates from the schools where they registered and wrote the examinations.
However, candidates who took the November/December examinations are required to obtain their certificates from NABTEB offices in the states where they registered and sat for the examinations.
The registrar listed acceptable identification documents, including the National Identification Number (NIN) and driver’s licence, among the requirements for certificate collection.
“Candidates seeking to collect November/December certificates are also required to present their statement of result or NABTEB online printout containing their examination details,” he said.
Other requirements include a passport-sized photograph with a red background and payment of an approved collection fee of ₦1,000, excluding applicable statutory online charges.
Mohammed stressed that certificates would only be issued to genuine candidates, warning that collection was restricted to individuals who actually sat for the examinations.
The release provides an opportunity for candidates whose certificates have been awaiting collection to obtain their documents, provided they meet the board’s stated requirements.
