The Aribido Royal Dynasty has announced the death of its matriarch, Sister Esther Folake Aribido (née Olorunjuwon), who passed away at noon on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
In a statement issued on behalf of the family and signed by Mr. Aribido David Jayeoba, the dynasty described the late Sister Aribido as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
“We are firmly confident in the resurrection hope,” the family said, adding that it looks forward to the promise that Jehovah will call and the dead will answer.
The family said burial arrangements would be communicated as soon as it concludes its plans.
It also appealed to friends, well-wishers and members of the public to keep the family in their prayers during what it described as a critical period.
