Ronaldo struck three times in the second half to help Al Nassr secure victory after a competitive encounter in which both sides found the net repeatedly. The treble took his reported career tally to 985 goals, leaving him 15 short of the 1,000-goal milestone.
Al Nassr had to fight back after Julien Domingues gave Al Kholood the lead. Ângelo Gabriel and Sadio Mané scored for the home side as João Félix played a key role in the attacking comeback.
Ronaldo then took centre stage, scoring in the second half to complete his hat-trick and help Al Nassr secure all three points. João Félix assisted his first two goals, while Mané provided the pass for the third.
