Professor Moses Atakpa has congratulated Hon. Mark Edibo Ameh on his re-election as Chairman of Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State, expressing confidence that his second term will provide an opportunity to consolidate on his first-term achievements and deepen grassroots development.
Prof. Atakpa, who earlier on Saturday visited Okpotala Ward to cast his vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC), participated in the local government election as Hon. Ameh secured a renewed mandate to lead the council for another term.
He expressed optimism that the chairman-elect would build on his experience in office to strengthen grassroots governance, promote inclusive leadership and address the developmental needs of communities across Omala.
Prof. Atakpa also urged the people of Omala to support the incoming administration, stressing that cooperation between the leadership and residents would be essential to achieving sustainable development and improving the welfare of the people.
He wished Hon. Ameh a successful second term, urging him to remain focused on delivering on his mandate and advancing the overall development of Omala Local Government Area.
