- Delegation linvites Faleke to unveil Tinubu Support Group campaign office in Anyigba
A delegation of leaders from the Audu/Faleke Political Family and the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) Kogi East has pledged to mobilise votes in the region for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 presidential election.
The group, led by former Chief of Naval Staff and former Kogi governorship candidate Vice Admiral Jibrin Usman (retd.), made the commitment during a visit to Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.
Usman said the visit was meant to reaffirm what he described as the bond of brotherhood, support and solidarity between Kogi East, Faleke and Tinubu. He said Kogi East would unite under the TSG platform to “make a loud statement” at the polls and show gratitude to the president.

“To whom much is given, much is expected in return,” Usman said, citing the patronage the region has enjoyed under the Tinubu administration.

He described the road to January 2027 as a defining political test for Kogi East. He also urged peace and unity, saying no people can secure their future while allowing avoidable divisions to consume their present, and that nations rise when leaders place collective interest above personal grievances.
Usman thanked Tinubu for appointing people from Kogi East to positions in his government, including the Chief of Army Staff. He also praised the president’s economic reforms and infrastructure projects, which he described as transformative.
He invited Faleke to return to Kogi East to unveil the TSG campaign office in Anyigba.
Prof. Stephen Ocheni thanked Faleke for sustaining his relationship with Kogi East and said the region would use the TSG platform for mass mobilisation in support of Tinubu’s re-election.
Faleke thanked the delegation for their show of support and said he would honour the invitation to unveil the campaign office, calling the trip a homecoming. He advised Kogi East leaders to unite and work together for Tinubu’s re-election.
The visit is part of wider efforts to organise support and mobilise votes ahead of the election, and signals campaign readiness in the region.
Sen. Dangana Ocheja and Isah Daniel were among the leaders who joined Usman and Ocheni. Other members of the delegation included Hon. Hassan Omale, Dr. Muhammed Jibril-Dangote, Hon. Ina Hussain Ismail, AIG Abdul Salam Iyaji (retd.), Hon. Emmanuel Omebije, Hon. Bala Zakari, Dr. Muhammed Muktar Abdullahi, Dr. Hassan Ibrahim and Emmanuel Ekele.
Representatives of the Muri Ajaka group, led by Col. Suleman Babanawa, also attended. They said they intend to join the TSG and work with it for Tinubu’s re-election.
